Training of Trainers (TOT) – General Program
The purpose of a(TOT) program is to equip the participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to effectively train others. It mainly focuses on how to teach, facilitate, and assess learning in order to make it effective. The main goal is to ensure that an organization does not heavily rely on external consultants for service delivery. It also ensures consistency content delivery using approved methods, materials and standards. This helps the subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate and share the technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
The training of trainer (TOT) program is a 30-hour credit, five (5) days specialized program with a goal of developing competent, confident trainers who can effectively transfer knowledge, skill and attitudes to others in a consistent and professional manner.

| Training Objectives The objectives of this training program is to; 1. understand the basic rules of conducting an effective training program 2. Provide a mastery for preparing, delivering and evaluating an effective training program. 3. Understand the use and purposes of different types of training aids 4. Plan and deliver structured lessons using approved syllabi 5. Understand the purpose and value of questioning techniques 6. Understand the challenges that may be experienced in a classroom and strategies to overcome them. 7. Understand and apply the principles of learning and active training 8. Understand and apply appropriate research methodology for different training topics. 9. Apply appropriate methods of analyzing and correcting errors 10. Establish appropriate methods of evaluating Human performance |
