Documentation Management and Control Program (DMC)
Documentation management and control system refers to the process of identifying and managing the controlled documents from creation to disposal in order to ensure their safety and prevent unintended use of obsolete documents. Documentation management and control is a five (5) days program designed against ISO 9001 standards requirements
Aim of the Program
Equip the personnel responsible for managing and controlling documentation with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to enable them maintain a quality documentation management system and comply with the ISO 9001 standards and the respective industry regulatory requirements
Target Group
Respective Function personnel, Documentations Officers, Librarians, Records Officers, Quality Teams, Standards & Procedures Officers, ICT teams, Management Representatives among others
Training Objectives
- Understand the respective companies’ regulatory documentation requirements
- Understand the requirements and scope of a quality documentation management system based on ISO 9001: 2015
- Understand the importance of documents consistency and referencing
- Understand the processes of managing controlled documents including those from external sources
- Gain an understanding between the controlled and uncontrolled documents and their management
- Understand the role and process of managing a Documentation/Resource center
- Understand the documentation responsibilities and accountability
- Understand the process of managing electronic documents
